About Angela

In September 2014 Angela became one of the very first people the left tried to “cancel” after appearing on the late-night cable access show “Tommy’s Garage.” Since leaving her full time teaching job, Angela now does what she was made to do – wreck and humiliate leftists.

"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."

Victor Hugo

I say what you're thinking

Former actress and elementary school teacher Angela Box

came to local, national, and international prominence due to her politically incorrect comments about radical Islam, President Obama, and Democrats in general on the local cable access, late night television show Tommy’s Garage. She was targeted for #cancelling (before cancelling was a thing) by the left, media, and education establishment. Instead of capitulating or apologizing, Angela fought back against her detractors with conviction and earned tremendous support from people all over the country and the world.

Early years

Angela was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Oklahoma City University with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Theater Arts. After pursuing acting for many years (with only minor success) she faced reality and went back to school to attain her elementary teaching credential. After moving to Houston in 2009, she taught second, third and fourth grades – but she never felt teaching was what she was meant to do – it was a job. For as long as she could remember, Angela was obsessed with politics and the role of politics in our culture.

In 2014, she met a friend who would change her life.

He was a panelist on the cable access, once a week show Tommy’s Garage and suggested she audition for the show. Six weeks after starting, her appearance was leaked to the media – and all hell broke loose.

She resigned her position

but not before realizing she had to sue a local activist named Quanell X for defamation — after his organization published a city-wide press release ascribing to her a wildly racist quote she never said. After the case was dismissed (her pro-bono lawyers did not respond to a standard Motion to Dismiss), Angela was ordered to pay Quanell X around $80,000 for attorneys’ fees. Throughout the years, Angela and Quanell had appeared several times together on Fox FaceOff and got to know one another and, ironically, have become friendly. In 2024 – almost ten years to the date of the original press release — Quanell signed a Waiver of Judgment and removed all fines from Angela. For more information about Angela’s case, simply google “Angela Box Daily Mail” – she’s appeared in the publication three times so far.

After leaving teaching in 2014,

Angela worked for several years with a political consultant and helped conservative candidates get elected in all levels of government. She was the treasurer of the political action committees (PACs) A Stronger Texas Fund and Save Texas Now which were focused on highlighting MAGA congressional candidates and local Houston school board candidates. She hosted her own eponymous radio show “The Angela Box Show” in 2024 and now The Angela Box Show podcast and videos can be found on all major platforms. For over a decade, Angela has been a regular guest on Fox 26’s The Isiah Factor Uncensored offering her unique, raw takes on current political events. For years, she made several media appearances each week, including as a pundit on the Sam Malone radio show and the host of Angela’s Soap Box on Raging Elephants Radio.
Angela lives in Houston with her husband Fred, an excessive amount of peachy-pink lip gloss, and lots of fake plants.
