Last night Claver Kamau-Imani of Raging Elephants Radio and I ventured into…wait for it….PACIFICA RADIO–yes, our local Super Leftie outlet at 90.1 FM/KPFT. Luckily I was wearing my free-trade hemp pancho so I blended in with the natives. Except I wasn’t because that’s idiotic.
Anyway, we sat down with Egberto Willies, who has a show called “Politics Done Right.” Now, except for the obvious misnomer of the show’s moniker, I have nothing but praise for this guy. He was warm and friendly, and so was the staff. I don’t think they knew what to make of this “Angela Box” person. Then again…a lot of people don’t. That’s okay by me–I’ll just keep kicking ass and taking names and they won’t know what hit them!
One of the liberal comments left on Egberto’s page was that I sounded like that “shock jock” (how quaint!) Rush Limbaugh. A bigger compliment I could not receive.
